Punctuality | Hashmi Academy

The habit of doing things at their appointed time is known as punctuality. We must never waste time and always try to make the best use of it. In other words, we must be punctual in doing things at their proper time. It is only by being punctual that we are able to perform the greatest amount of work within the shortest time.
There are many benefits of being punctual. A punctual man is never in a hurry. Whatever he does, he can do with perfect calmness. He is never late for his work or his appointments with others. Therefore, people can rely upon his promises. By being punctual, he never causes inconvenience to other people. Thus, he wins the respect and confidence of all those who come into contact with him.
A student who attends school regularly and finishes his work with punctuality is looked upon with favour by his teachers. He is never behind the class and can follow the lessons from beginning to end. If he is regular in preparing his lessons, he will not have to work very hard at the time of examination. He can very easily get a good result with a small amount of labour.
On the other hand, a student who is not punctual will not be able to keep pace with the progress made in his class. As a result, he cannot do well in the examinations. Punctuality is the key to success. Without this quality, no man can prosper in this world. As regular and punctual habits require long and hard training, you should try to practise punctuality early in life. Once this habit is formed, its effects in your practical life will be quite visible and apparent.
