Rights of People in islam | Hashmi Academy

Rights of People : The Quran has guided man with regard to his dealings with other people of the society. It lays emphasis on justice, trust, respect for life and property, patience, humility, thankfulness and forgiveness. It has clearly defined the rights of human beings.
The Quran, tells us to worship no one but Allah after which we are commanded to be good and kind to our fellow beings.
A Muslim, respects the rights of human beings in exactly the same way as he respects the rights of Allah. About showing kindness to people, the Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: “Allah will not be affectionate to him who is not affectionate to Allah’s creatures.” He also said: “The creation is the family of Allah. So the dearest to Allah is he who is best to his family.”
The relations between a man and other people are those of parents and children, relatives, neighbours, travelers, poor and needy and non-Muslims. As Muslims, we are required to respect the rights of all human beings.
Only then we can live in peace and harmony with each other. Allah too, will be happy and pleased with us.
